Before you fill in the form, please read the information here on the application process. We explain the dates and deadlines involved. We also set out details of the information you will need to gather before filling in the form.
Application and decision dates for Junior Infants admission to 2024/2025 school year were as follows:

Important: An acknowledgement of your application will be sent to the primary email contact address you supply on the form. We recommend that you add info@kealkillns.ie to your email address book before you begin, so that the acknowledgement message and any further correspondence are not mistakenly sent to your spam folder.
All form handling and PDF rendering is completed directly on our web server, and no third-party service has access to your data.
Note: Kealkill National School will consider and issue decisions on late applications in accordance with the school’s admission policy, which is outlined here.
*Failure to accept an offer within the prescribed period above may result in the offer being withdrawn.
The number of places being made available in Junior Infants is 26.
The Board of Management has deemed 26 as the number of spaces available in Junior Infants in September 2024. The BoM reserves the right to change this number as necessary.
What will I need to complete the form?
- Your child’s birth certificate
- Your child’s PPSN number (you can find this on medical cards or call the Dept of Social and Family Affairs on 01 704 3236, and they will be able to assist you.)
- Your child’s baptismal certificate (optional)
- Proof of address
- Details of any medication your child requires
- Copies of any relevant medical or educational reports
- The name and phone number of your child’s GP
Scan or take photos of any relevant documents before you begin the form. Also, make sure they are on the device you will be using so that you can attach them when requested.
