Kealkill National School is a co-educational primary school for children aged between 5 and 12 years old.
The school has been at the heart of our West Cork community since it first opened its doors in 1909. We foster the skills and creativity of all of our students in a happy and safe environment to ensure that every Kealkill pupil is able to achieve their full potential.
The school year is packed with opportunities for children to learn through study and play. Children enjoy art, drama, and swimming lessons as well as the core curriculum, and our modern school facilities provide a positive environment for learning and play.
Kealkill National School is a Catholic primary school. We pride ourselves on our inclusive school community and we strive to provide a well-ordered, caring, happy and secure atmosphere where the intellectual, spiritual, physical, moral and cultural needs of all pupils are identified and addressed.
An emphasis on friendship and collaboration helps each child to achieve their goals and strengthen their social skills with confidence.
